Heard about this site on the radio the other morning; figured it was worth a look-see:

No luck in finding a long-lost family fortune, but I did end up with a check for $47 from an old bank account I'd forgotten about. Should keep me in beer for another week or so at least.

A buddy of mine has $100 in there with his name on it; for whatever reason he's convinced it's a big scam and refuses to check for himself.  |

You should point out to your friend that the website is part of the washington department of revenue.
I saw once on the news about how cops were using something like this to get people with unpaid parking tickets and bench warrants to come in. They'd arrive to claim some type of prize and get handcuffed for their troubles.
No joy for me, though. It probably doesn't help that I've only lived in WA for a year. |
